           The deadline for paying your property taxes is January 31st.
            If you did not receive your tax statement, please contact the Tax Office
           The delinquency date is February 1st.
           Failure to receive your bill does not allow for penalty and interest to be waived

You must have your automobile inspected within the past 90 days prior to registration.

 **A person purchasing property at the sale will be required to present to the officer who conducts the sale a written statement from the County Tax Assessor/Collector that the purchaser does not owe any delinquent taxes in that county.    
Please come to our main office in Athens, to request this statement. The cost is $10 and it is valid for 90 days.
You must present a photo ID at that time.
