Our Mission Statement:
The mission of the Henderson County Development Office is to assist and guide land and property owners, taxpayers, and developers in approval of plats, replats, and general development of land outside of a municipality. Additionally, the Development Office of Henderson County is responsible for floodplain administration in areas outside of any city limits.

Development:

Development Pre-Application Questionnaire
The Development Pre Application Form will be used to determine and document the proposed direction of development in rural Henderson County.  This is an administrative form.

Developments, replats, subdivisions and divisions of land may voluntarily be assessed for floodplain and drainage to assist the county with upholding its Floodplain Ordinance. The floodplain assessment is required if development is planned in the Special Flood Hazard Area.

These regulations have been prepared to aid in the orderly development of Henderson County, Texas, and provide guidelines that will lead to a desirable environment. These regulations supersede all previous Henderson County Subdivision Regulations.
